CONFIRMATION CAMP WAS A SUCCESS!!

haha i shall talk bout it since day 1 (:

okay day 1, went to church in the morning like 7.30 then the cathechists checked all of our bags. hm.. actually i could have smuggled my phone in one since they didnt check the pockets! but oh well.. so we waited for the bus and me, pearlyn CHUA, pearlyn LAU and vivienne bonded among ourselves. then we were like so sad that we were in diff groups cause we thought we have to sleep in our groups. but turned out we get to sleep in our classes still!! haha :D

when we reached this ulu ulu place (it's really ULU PANDAN ROAD) yea we assembled and went to our dorms and this is where i'm most happy bout! our dorm has air con! how cool is that! but we have to sleep on the floor luh. but at least it's better than no air con and sleep in a crowded room of beds that smells and looks like a hospital ward (: our dorm is like on the 2nd floor right next to the service room so it's quite convenient for us.

hm.. i cant rmb what exactly happened on the 1st day.. OH the father fred and that guy that alw go to sn for reflection day came! and i thought it was like the most boring talks of all. oops (: yea day 1 mostly we had loads of talks. the meals were quite nice luh BUFFET (: very filling.

btw I HATE THE BATHROOMS! it's so unfair! i heard the guys have warm water while the girls are like practically bathing in FREEZING water! tsk that's like SOOO unfair. bleah. but on both days me and pearlyn were like the first few to bathe since we bunk on the 2nd floor only :D

1st night was okay luh.. oh vivienne didnt sleep cause i didnt hug her!! hahah. cause i was saying "i cant sleep without my bolster!" then before that vivienne said she can be my bolster so pearlyn was like "vivienne! joanne wants to hug you!" and guess what vivienne said! it was SOO funny! haha she said "I'M READY!" hahah! then the whole night we were laughing cause vivienne kept saying stuff like "i cant sleep without your hug!", "i'm waiting for your hug!", "come and hug me!" damn funny. hm.. besides that it was okay.. except it rained quite heavily halfway and i woke up like 3-4 times. the air con the 1st night was like damn cold luh! somemore my head directly face the air con. yup so 2nd night i made the temp lower (: i shall talk bout 2nd day first..

2nd day woke up and we learnt this DIP DIP song. it's so fun! i love praise and worship times (: the song is below luh.. and i made loads of new friends on 2nd day. like courtney, celestine etc. and we played games like "where's my 5-cent coin" etc.. yup anw we had confession on the 2nd day and i felt SOOO relaxed.. hm.. i havent went for confession since a long time ago.. and our whole cohort practically went CRAZY at night. the boys were like doing the can-can dance and the girls doing the conga-longa! hahah OH and we had this one to one talk with the facils and it's like very touching. i almost cried luh :(

anw 2nd night was kinda freaky. cause courtney didnt come on 1st day, so we stayed up to tell loads of ghost stories. we even had a night walk luh! damn scary. courtney was saying that she saw a shadow fly past which is freaky. but apparently the boys are having night walks too cause the boys are all outside! and another freaky part was like in the dorm, courtney was saying like "if you find a door locked right, and you know no one is inside, you must knock first" then just as she said finish, we heard knocking noises! and we tried out next morning that it didnt sound like it came from the boys' dorm upstairs but next door.. the scary part is NOBODY GOES IN THERE.. ohmy FREAKY. but one thing's very funny during the 2nd night. someone (i wont say who) SNORED SOOOO LOUDLY! oh my gosh it caused me to wake up once luh! haha.

3rd day! hm.. more praise and worship! YAY! yup then talks and blah blah until 2.30 when there's a family mass back at church. and when we got our warm fuzzies (little notes) pearlyn realised that vivienne played a trick on her! cause vivienne went to use someone's name and said some stuff.. dunno whether i should say. haha yea that only happened cause pearlyn said she liked that person's hairstyle. heh actually ME TOO :D yea and we did the DIP DIP song! haha damn fun!

haha this is such a long post. well basically i felt that this camp turned out to be quite interesting luh and i felt very enriched and like grew in my faith. yea and i made new friends and stuff so.. I BET NEXT YEAR'S GONNA BE HIGH! :D
